A C-Class or an E-Class of a single model year can carry a handful of different windshields depending on the options: acoustic laminate, heated wiper park, infrared-reflective coating, a head-up display wedge, a rain and light sensor pad, and the bracketry for whichever driver-assistance package the car left the factory with. The model name does not identify the pane. The VIN does.
So that is where we start. We specify the glass from the vehicle, quote you the OEM and the quality aftermarket options with the reasoning for each, and calibrate the forward camera here on the same appointment where the car requires it. Nothing is ordered before you have agreed what is going in.

Acoustic, heated, coated, HUD, sensor and camera options all read from the vehicle rather than from the model name.
Step 2: Strip and protect
Cowl and trim removed properly, sensor and camera assemblies handled as units, paint and interior protected before the old pane moves.
Step 3: Bond to specification
Correct primer and adhesive procedure for the installation, with the safe drive-away time explained before you plan around it.
Step 4: Calibrate and verify
Where the car needs it, the forward camera is calibrated here and the systems are checked before handover.
